Where:

Nationally known orator David Cobb will be in Baltimore one night only on March 12th to present: ‘Creating Democracy & Challenging Corporate Rule.’

“David’s presentation is a history lesson and inspiring call to action.” He is a leader and spokesperson of Move To Amend, a national coalition calling for a constitutional amendment to abolish “Corporate Personhood.”

Progressives of all stripes are struggling against the upstream problem of the corporate takeover of our political system through “corporate personhood.”

A graduate of the University of Houston Law School, David Cobb has sued corporate polluters, has been arrested for civil disobedience, and ran for Texas Attorney General pledging to revoke charters of law-breaking corporations. He ran for President of the United States in 2004 on the Green Party ticket, and now serves as the National Projects Director of Democracy Unlimited.

Sponsored by all-volunteer Get Money Out – Maryland, www.GetMoneyOutMD.org (“GMOM," pronounced "Gee, Mom!"). GMOM works in Maryland to fight political corruption, restore the power of citizens, and resist the concept of “corporate personhood.” GMOM is part of the national movement proposing an amendment to the U.S. Constitution for this purpose.

GMOM’s monthly meetings, and monthly conference calls, are open to the public.
