Right to Housing Alliance Volunteer Canvassing day

Join Occupy our Homes/Right to Housing Alliance and students from the Public Justice Center's STAT (Students Taking Action with Tenants) team for weekly door-knocking.
Maps and routes will be prepared in advance based on eviction, foreclosure, or redevelopment addresses. Either way, it's a great experience to talk to people at the door about their rights and the human right to housing, get residents engaged, and get them to one of our Resident Meetings.
New canvassers will be paired with experienced canvassers, either organizers from RTHA, or student canvassers from STAT, and no one will go out solo.
Every Saturday morning starting at 10am we meet in the parking lot of the Park Heights Community Health Alliance, 4151 Park Heights Ave for a brief warm-up and training, and start hitting the streets at 10:30.
Please RSVP by Friday if you would like to come canvass, and let us know whether you have a car/can provide ridess/need a ride.
