I have some stuff
Hey, where and who do I see to give you some donations? Basically, I can do a drive-by donation. Please advise.
donation
the comment above from strykerashe is similar to me...last night i brought some bagels and was limited in what i brought thinking about walking from where ever i parked...maybe you can post a # of someone who can be prepared to stand on the corner to quickly receive "drive-by" donations.....having that "service" advertised may serve to increase donations from those who want to help, but do not know it is "hassle-free"...thank you. bonnie :)
Can you email me a basic shopping list
I will be going to the store tomorrow morning and can pick up basics like bread, soup, coffee, milk, instant whatever, etc. Keep in mind I'm one person who has to carry this from across MLK down to the park, but I'm willing to load my backpack as full as possible. What are your most immediate needs that a supermarket can fill? And thank you for doing this.

Things Needed
We are currently reorganizing camp due to our new winterized tents!
Our food tent desperately needs better organizing. In order to do this we need restaurant style shelving systems on wheels.
Along with our new kitchen, we would like to stop using disposable dishes. In order to do this, we need reusable plates, bowls, forks, knives, spoons, cups. We also need buckets, drying racks, sponges and dish soap so we can set up a dish washing station.
We also have a table set up at the site where people can write letters to our politicians. We have the letters, but we need envelopes and stamps.
One of our occupiers (he goes by the name `Mr. Maryland`) spends his days walking around the city talking to people about the movement. He has worn out his shoes and needs new ones. His shoe size is 14 and I´m sure he would be really grateful to have a new pair!
Thank you for all the great donations we have been receiving! I am going to try to keep updating this part of the website as things come up.
As far as homemade items, we always LOVE getting them! A delicious homemade stew was dropped off the other day and I thoroughly enjoyed it (Thanks, Wendy)!! The only request that I have is that you drop off homemade goods when I´m there!!
If you are looking to do a `drive by` donation, you can always just pull over on Pratt st. (please do so very cautiously and put your hazards on!) and call to someone that you have a food donation, and I´m sure people will be happy to come and help unload and carry the things to the food tent for you!
Thanks again for all your donations - your continued support really helps keep the movement going!

We need shelving systems!
It seems like Mr. Maryland got his new shoes..
We desperately need shelves so we can organize our tents!!
(if you know where to buy shelving systems cheap, please let us know, also!)
