Occupy Baltimore is a group of people committed to restoring our human rights. We fight against the corporations, banks, legislation, and greed of the 1% that have created the huge economic divide that exists and seeks to crush us.

We are here to support the 99% -- anyone who wants to stand up and say "no" to the physical, emotional, and financial violence being perpetrated against us is welcome to join us. Everyone is invited to visit us and see what we are about. Your input is important. Your ideas are important. YOU are important.

Pattrice Jones, a native Baltimorean, will discuss racism, speciesm, and how they intersect in order to draw connections between racial justice and animal rights. She will examine where these movements are now, what people need to do personally, locally, and globally to deconstruct these interconnected oppressions.

Maps and routes will be prepared in advance based on eviction, foreclosure, or redevelopment addresses. Either way, it's a great experience to talk to people at the door about their rights and the human right to housing, get residents engaged, and get them to one of our Resident Meetings.
